Token Forge
from zip to first mint.
Everything you need to build, configure and run MIKODES Token Forge: create a Solana token that does a job, such as a membership, a licence, points, credits or a pass, and operate it afterwards. Read it top to bottom the first time. After that, press / and search.
01What you bought
Token Forge is a Flutter app for creating Token-2022 tokens on Solana and running them. It is not a launchpad: there is no bonding curve, no presale and no price anywhere in the product. It builds instruments, not investments: a gym membership, a software licence with seats and an expiry, points a shop gives out, credits an API burns, a ticket.
The app starts on devnet. Mainnet can only be selected after you switch on Allow mainnet in Settings. No API key, no RPC URL and no wallet address of anyone else ships in the source; there is no runtime fee (why).
| Part | What it does | Where in the code |
|---|---|---|
| Build | Six steps: job, identity, extensions, authorities, consequences, review. Ends with an unsigned transaction. | lib/features/forge/, lib/core/token2022/ |
| Console | Operate an existing mint: holders, issue, revoke, expiry, approvals, fees, authorities, compatibility, audit trail. | lib/features/console/, lib/core/ops/ |
| Settings | The operator panel: network, your RPC endpoints, transactions, jobs, vocabulary, branding, maintenance, published config, venue checks. | lib/features/settings/, lib/core/config/ |
The app builds and simulates transactions and hands them over as base64 with empty signature slots. You sign where your keys are (a multisig, a script, a wallet) and paste the signature back so it can be checked on-chain. test/no_signing_in_product_test.dart checks that lib/ imports no signing library.

Your own Solana RPC endpoint, your own signing setup and wallets, the mint keypair (generated by you), SOL for rent and network fees, and for store builds Apple and Google developer accounts. If you use the Transfer hook extension, the hook program is yours to write, deploy and audit.
04Try it before you install
The live demo is the real web build on devnet: forge-demo.mikodes.com. Nothing there costs anything, and the forge never signs.

05How to read these docs
- Dark boxes are commands. Press Copy in the corner and paste them into a terminal.
- Grey text after
#is an explanation. The Copy button leaves it out. - Text in angle brackets, like
<PUBKEY>, is a placeholder. Replace it, brackets included. - Protocol findings are enforced by the Token-2022 program. Venue policy findings describe how third parties behave and are not verified for your date.
- Required marks steps you cannot skip.
- Not active in this version marks settings that are read but do nothing yet.
